NCB Financial Group on Friday announced that it launched a take over bid for Guardian Holdings of Trinidad and Tobago.

The bid is valued at US$174 million with each GHL share being valued at US$2.35.

The bid is being effected through NCB Financial Group’s subsidiary, NCB Global Holdings.

The offer, if successful, would result in NCB acquiring a controlling interest in GHL.
