Road Safety
Road safety is of great concern for nations all over the world. Efforts are always made to reduce the incidence of road accidents . Road safety is of tremendous importance to the insurance industry because in the majority of cases claims of one sort or the other have to be attended to by the industry.
The insurance industry is usually supportive of agencies that have a focus on road safety and give assistance to those agencies in their road safety programs wherever possible.
From time to time some of these agencies publish statistics relating to road safety and some of these statistics will be made available in the IAJ’s road safety section. Also, a number of Road Safety videos aimed at addressing public education that will help to heighten awareness among all road users will be included in this road safety section.
