The Insurance Association of Jamaica is the trade association that represents the life, health and general insurance companies operating in Jamaica. The IAJ's formation was a direct result of a merger between the Jamaica Association of general Insurance Companies and the Life Insurance Association of Jamaica. The merge facilitated the operation of a single association within the insurance industry representing all 17 companies in the life and general insurance sectors. Goals
One of the primary goals of the IAJ is to effectively represent the interests of both member companies and policyholders. In addition, the Association is committed to promoting the long-term economic development of the nation and encouraging ethical conduct of members. Functions:
